A native of South Carolina, Belton has vacationed in the Lowcountry his whole life. So, he knows the area and will use that knowledge to find or to market your home. Belton graduated from Wilson Hall in Sumter and from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he earned a degree in journalism.

In 2012, Belton moved to Charleston to work for BenefitFocus, and he went through a home search that landed him in Mount Pleasant. From his home buying experience, Belton learned how to research and how to find the perfect home - a process that has never been more challenging than today. In addition to the research needed, Belton became skilled in the art of negotiation, valuation, and the importance of clear and frequent communication - all of which he uses to help his clients today.

Along with his expertise in real estate, Belton is a licensed insurance agent and has worked in the fields of software, human resources, and journalism. When he’s not working on projects around his house, Belton can be found relaxing with family at Lake Marion.
